Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
Every learner identified as having Additional Learning Needs (as defined by the ALN Code for Wales) will have an Individual Development Plan (IDP). The IDP is a person-centred document that outlines the unique needs, aspirations, and required support for each learner. It replaces previous systems such as Statements of SEN, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and Learning and Skills Plans to ensure a unified and inclusive approach to support.
At Olchfa School, we strive to work collaboratively with parents/carers and pupils. These plans are reviewed regularly to ensure that they remain relevant and effective as learners progress through school. We are dedicated to ensuring that every pupil feels supported, empowered, and able to access a full curriculum tailored to their needs.
