We understand that not every learner who needs some additional support in learning will require an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Many pupils can thrive with adjustments made through inclusive teaching practices.

At Olchfa School, we embed a range of inclusive approaches across the school, including:

  • Differentiated lesson planning to accommodate diverse learning styles

  • Flexible seating arrangements and classroom layouts

  • Regular use of visual aids and interactive teaching resources

  • Opportunities for small group work or additional teacher support within the classroom

  • Open communication with parents and carers to ensure continuity between home and school
